Hey there! I'm Amanda, the face behind Amanda Eloise Photography! I am a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Columbus, OH.
Amanda Eloise Photography was born from a passion to capture beautiful, meaningful moments and still them in time for generations to come. As much as I love all the pretty that comes with a wedding day, I strongly believe the marriage is 100% more important that the wedding itself. My heart is to serve my couples to feel loved and taken care of through the entire process from planning to gallery delivery. And for them and their families to know without a doubt that I am rooting for them in their marriage!
But anyways, who am I really???
I am a Christ follower, happily married to my very best friend, Tim, mom to an energetic toddler named Everett and our sweet new baby girl, Evie, and an extroverted introvert who loves to spend time with my loved ones.
I have an addiction to chipotle, seriously Tim and I go at least once a week. You can usually find us at home working on some new renovation project, visiting or hosting family and friends, or dreaming of our next roadtrip adventure.
I love a good rom com or reality tv show, listening to true crime podcasts, and baking all the sourdough.
But most of all I LOVE my job! I take great pride in serving my couples the very best I can. I love building relationships and walking away with some new friends in life and letting you walk away with breathtaking photos to remember these once in a lifetime moments!!

"Amanda was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. Not only did she capture our day perfectly, but she became a friend to us and provided such a fun and calming presence. She has the experience to give suggestions but she is also open to your new ideas and bringing any vision to life. Amanda is super down to earth and relatable which was so good for me as a bride. If you have any questions at all, I am happy to answer through email, phone call, Facetime, or even in an in person consultation if you live in the Columbus area. I am an open book and want to make sure you get all the answers so you can feel 100% confident in your decision!
Once you've made your decision to book and let me know and I will send you everything you need to make your booking official! Contracts and payments are all taken care of through your own online client portal from my online client management system. After that's taken care of we are officially official and you will be apart of the Amanda Eloise Photography family!!
If you haven't booked yet and I receive another inquiry for your date, I will reach out to you immediately to let you know and give you the opportunity to book first. However I honor the first signed contract and paid retainer. No dates are held without those two items.

Handcrafted Albums are the perfect way to remember your wedding day
Having digital images is wonderful, but having a printed keepsake that tells a visual story of our wedding day is priceless! If you haven’t already invested in a Legacy Album of your own, you can always come back to us at any time and order one. We aren’t a photography business that pushes product sales at all. However, these albums are important not just for our couples to have... but for their grandchildren to enjoy as well!

engagement sessions
Engagement sessions are complimentary within each wedding package.
I'm a big fan of engagement sessions for a few reasons. This time spent together is the perfect time to get to know each other more and get you both comfortable in front of the camera! No worries though, your only job during your session will be to love on each other and have fun! I will coach you through all the posing and make you feel relaxed in front of the camera. By the time your wedding day comes around, camera jitters will be something of the distant past!
In addition, timelines can be pretty tight on weddings days and 30 minutes may be all we have for portraits - which is why I’ve found that wedding day portraits turn out so much better when couples do engagement sessions ahead of time!

What is your photography style?
I am a light and airy photographer with a soft, bright, and colorful film inspired look that will stand the test of time. I strive for my images to be full of joy, elegance, and romance. My heart is to serve my couples making them feel comfortable and cared for with my calm and encouraging personality. When photographing sessions and weddings I am confident in guiding the needed posed portraits but I love to capture the candid and natural moments too.

Can you hold our date for us? How do I reserve you for my date?
A 25% deposit and signed contract is required to officially save your date. Thanks to the beauty of the internet everything is handled online through a link where you can view, sign, and pay for your package chosen.
To be fair to all potential clients, I cannot hold your date until this has been done.

How many images will I get? Do you deliver every photo you take?
On average I deliver 75 images per hour. I do not deliver every image I take as I take a large amount of images to ensure that I capture those perfect moments. I don't include blurred/botched images, pictures caught at unflattering moments (eg. eyes closed, mid sneeze, etc.,) or duplicates of the same exact photo. However all other good images I of course deliver!

What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
I can't tell you how many time I have heard couples tell me this and I have never once had a couple leave their engagement session feeling the same way! Give me 10 minutes to get you warmed up and you'll be surprised to find just how easy it is and that you guys are basically already models!
Seriously don't worry, if you two can hold hands, snuggle, and give a kiss or two you are all set. I'll have you two twirling, giggling, and dancing to get those Nicolas Sparks worthy photos in no time!

We love you but you're out of budget, can I get a deal?
I 100 percent get it, Tim and I paid for our wedding out of our own pockets fresh out of college so I definitely understand the struggle. I am always happy to look into creating a custom package to see if I can work with you and your budget. However if you are price shopping I am not the photographer for you. I do not give discounts as that would not be fair to my other clients. I believe with my whole heart that photography is the most meaningful and long lasting wedding day investments and I hope you do too!
